At River Ridge Golf Club, a long and challenging round of golf is to be expected, though both just add to the excitement of the game. Along the 18 hole, par-72 course, expect to find everything from large bunkers protecting the greens to over-water tee shots to the fairway. It's about a 15-mile drive from downtown Raleigh to this southeastern course, but its distance from the hubbub of the city makes the experience all the more enjoyable.
